Snowdrift Stole
I recently completed the Snowdrift Stole from Blackberry Ridge.
New technique for me was entrelac.
I ordered the kit that came with thistledown wool. The stole took approximately 110 hours to complete. 50 to complete the center panel and another 60 to do the edging.
Pre-blocking, it was approximately 20x40 and after blocking 28x50.
If I were to do this pattern over, I would have added at least two more rows of entrelac squares to the center panel.
I found the pattern a bit confusing when I started the edging, so I took what I KNEW and started in a different location. Ultimately, the pattern did work although I had a one stitch discrepancy from the end of a corner to the start of the next edging pattern sequence. I do not know if it was pattern error or knitter error.
Wet blocking did the typical magic!
